How and Why Do Sta-Tuned Guitar Accessories Keep Your Guitar In Tune?

I am sure this sounds familiar "How Can I Keep My Guitar In Tune?".  Read on.

The most important part of the Sta-Tuned set up is the String-Lock

The String-Lock is what keeps your guitar in tune while you are playing.
A fine tuner is necessary when using a String-Lock and secondary to keeping your guitar in tune.

Fine tuners are required because once you lock your strings, you cannot use your tuning gears when temperature and humidity de-tunes your guitar.

Another Option

In addition, we have developed another method of keeping you guitar in tune that fits on all guitars and does not require a fine tuner. We call this a String-Release.

Our String-Release greatly improves your guitar from going out of tune and is designed for guitars that have the strings flaring out at an angle from the nut to the tuning gears. It will also fit on all flat top guitars.

The String-Release eliminates one half of the friction between the strings and the nut. This device is placed onto the strings ahead of the nut and slides up the strings in order to make the strings run in a straight line through both sides of the nut.

The String-Release, unlike the String-Lock, does not prevent the strings from moving through the nut but it allows the strings to move through the nut more freely. This allows the strings to return to the same precise tonal position that it was in before minutely moving.

This minute string movement through the nut is what makes a guitar go out of tune while you are playing.
