The String-Release fits on most guitars and does not require a fine tuner. This device helps to keep your guitar from going out of tune.

How Does The String Release Work?

This device is designed for guitars that have the strings flaring out at an angle from the nut to the tuning gears. It will also fit on all flat top guitars.

String Release Keeps You in Tune By Eliminating Friction

The String-Release eliminates one half of the friction between the strings and the nut. This device merely pushes onto the strings ahead of the nut and slides up the strings in order to make the strings run in a straight line through both sides of the nut.

Strings Return To Same Precise Tonal Precision

The String-Release, unlike the String-Lock, does not prevent the strings from moving through the nut, but allows the strings to move through the nut more freely. This allows the strings to return to the same precise tonal position that it was in before minutely moving in the nut slots.

It is this minute string movement through the nut that makes a guitar go out of tune while you are playing.

Which Size String-Release?

The String-Release is available in 3 different sizes and 3 different finishes, chrome, gold, and black. Use the instruction below to determine the correct size for your guitar.

The correct size String-Release is determined by the measurement in inches between the “e” strings at the nut.

●  SMALL = 1 3/8"
●  MEDIUM = 1 1/2"
●  LARGE = 1 9/16"
